Here's what's NOT new-- me slacking off and never posting what's going on in my
life. Sorry!! Here's what IS new:
---I had an amazing summer working at Camp Millhouse, which my
friends will have to hear about all year until they're so sick of camp stories
they'll probably want to tape my mouth shut... (ask about the one with T
and the Epi-pen or the one with Joey and the cat comments.)
---I started my awesome new job at the respite home. Here's what that means- two
people who have developmental disabilities will come live at the respite house
each weekend and I along with another woman will work with them as caregivers.
These are mostly younger individuals who still live with their parents so after
the weekend they will go back to their parent's house. There are 4 or 5
individuals who will rotate throughout the month and I will work 3 weekends a
month. (full time-- I stay there all weekend and am allowed to bill for 34 of
the hours.) This job is ideal for many different reasons: 1) it gives me nearly
full-time work while still attending school, and I'm not overloaded because it's
all condensed into the weekend 2)it's something I love to do 3) It will be
awesome for my resume to get into grad. school and afterward when finding a job
in social work 4) It pays well 5) free entertainment on the weekend 6) free
laundry
---- My parents are moving out of the house we've lived in since I was two years
old. :-( They're moving into a smaller villa because this house is too big for
just the two of them. I'm packing like mad and getting rid of some old junk so I
can be done with it by the time school starts.
--- My sister's baby shower is tomorrow and she's due September 11th. We're
convinced he will come early, because she's about to pop. My guess is August
30th.
---- I move in to Logan Village at Bethel on the 24th and classes start 2 days
later.

I am once again reminded of how pathetic this little site is, but lack the
creativity to change that. Write me with suggestions of what would make this

I have to go back to Mishawaka (South Bend) next semester for medical purposes.
Will miss IU terribly- hope to be back by fall.

Have become obsessed with the song Crash
Into Me by the Dave Matthews
Band, despite (or because of?) it's dirty lyrical content. Apparently the new
guestbook isn't working right either, does anyone know how to get a good
one?

Rants/Musings. Still rooting for the Cubs, come on guys.... 2 more chances at
the series!

Very sad about the Cubs losing, but they put up a good fight! SO Close... I
fixed the guestbook, it was being ornery, so I got a new one. I put out a survey
for my next rant, it should be finished within about a week. : )
